DESIGN COMMUNICATION I
Instructor: Heather flood / Fall 2016 / WOODBURY UNIVERSITY
Various skills used in two- and three-dimensional methods and media of representation are introduced. Methods of perception, technique, composition, critical evaluation and presentation are studied through representational assignments. Emphasis is placed on orthographic projection and documentation and constructed hard line drawing techniques.
PRIMITIVE CUBE Drawings
This phase introduces students to fundamental ways of representing geometry and form in two-dimensional media.
As Builts
This phase introduces students to a different approach on drawing by requiring measurements and an already built structure.
Axonometric
This phase introduces students to fundamental ways of approaching a three-dimensional drawing with the addition of the use of poches.
